MGS Laboratories to move in to Portsmouth’s Merlin Park development
The company is the third business to take space at the development at Airport Service Road since its completion last year.
MGS Laboratories, which provides microbiological outsourcing services to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, will take the 9,299 sq ft Unit 2, following in the footsteps of Belgrade Insulation and Scott Cables which are already signed up as occupiers.

Guy Jackson, industrial director at ommercial property specialist LSH, said: ‘We’re pleased to welcome MGS Laboratories to this exciting new development.’
Regenerated by Canmoor Developments, 6.5-acre Merlin Park features some 100,000 sq ft of new employment space in seven units for business, industrial and warehouse uses, and will also be the home of Hampshire Constabulary’s new Eastern Police Investigation Centre.
Guy Leslie, asset manager at Canmoor Developments, said: ‘Merlin Park is the city’s largest speculative industrial development in a decade and brings a large brownfield site back into commercial use. The development brings more much needed industrial space to the city further regenerating the area and has brought an unused site back to life.’
