Promoter's new events website

MUSIC promoter Nick Courtney has teamed up with software developers Radweb to launch a new website.

BookEvents is a ticket portal for music events and Portsmouth Pride, which takes place on Saturday, is its first customer.

Mr Courtney said: ‘I’m always looking for my next venture and felt that there was something lacking for booking local music events in one place.

‘Working with the Radweb team has enabled it to come to fruition in time for Portsmouth Pride. We’ll be adding many more events to the website’s calendar in the coming months.’

Steve Rad, managing director of Radweb, said: ‘It was great to put our ecommerce skills and website building to practice in collaboration with Nick.’
