Pupils at a Portsmouth school were delighted when their new library was opened by author and illustrator Guy Parker-Rees.

The new library was opened at Langstone Infant School by the illustrator of Giraffes Can't Dance, who also talked to all the children in the hall about illustrating books and drew a special picture to commemorate the event. The children at the school in Stride Avenue also created their own illustrations.
