Keep your kids entertained with THRIVE, the new activity programme from Horizon Leisure

Do you want your children to be more active? Would you like them to improve their wellbeing? Would you be interested in having your kids try new activities and meet new friends? Do you want them to THRIVE? Here, the time at Horizon Leisure share details of an exciting new programme for kids.

Horizon Leisure’s new dedicated programme, THRIVE, launching on April 1 could be the answer.

THRIVE has been designed to support young people aged 0-15 with their physical and emotional development through a diverse range of activities and clubs, helping to unlock their full potential.

We understand that not all young people enjoy competitive sport, and our THRIVE programmes at Havant and Waterlooville Leisure Centres allow young people to connect with their wellbeing in a more relaxed, informal environment. All our activities help to build friendships, enhance communication skills and boost confidence.

THRIVE clubs and activities include:

Junior Gym - our junior workout sessions are specially designed for young people aged 10 to 15 years old. We believe in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle from an early age, and our supervised sessions provide a safe and enjoyable environment for young fitness enthusiasts. Sessions run Monday to Friday 4pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday between 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm. A gym induction must be completed before attending.

The Hangout Youth Club - for 12-15-year-olds, providing opportunities to participate in various activities, including arts and crafts, computer use, pool tables, board games and team games. On the last Friday of every month, a local group or organisation bring exciting activities to us!
