Police, fire crews and ambulance in Southsea for 'concern for welfare'

EMERGENCY services have been called to Southsea after a ‘concern for welfare’ incident.
People in Portsmouth reported a large number of emergency vehicles in Waverley Road.
Twitter user Ollie Smith said: ‘I’ve just seen around four fire engines race past our house and a white unmarked car.’

Hide AdOther onlookers have claimed to see a number of ambulances and police vehicles.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called just before 2.25pm to a report of a concern for the welfare of a man at an address in Waverley Road.
‘Officers are in attendance.’
Fire crews from Southsea were also called to Waverley Road.
