Three arrested after police uncover 'large' cannabis factory in Hampshire

Three men have been arrested after a large cannabis factory was uncovered.

At 11.46am today (October 21), officers conducting enquiries entered a warehouse in Millbank Street, Southampton.

On their arrival officers found a very large quantity of cannabis plants inside the building which have now been seized.

A scene is in place while officers determine the exact scale of the production and the number of plants, which will then be destroyed.

Two men aged 29 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of producing a Class B drug, and a 35-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of producing a Class B drug and abstracting electricity. All were of no fixed address.

They remain in custody while enquiries continue.
