FOLLOWING in her brothers' footsteps, Grace Docherty has finished the first stage of her Royal Navy training.

The 19-year-old, from Gosport, was among the recruits celebrating the end of their 10-week training course.

Watching the parade were Grace’s brothers Joe, a Logistician and Luke, a Leading Hand.

Grace said: ‘I joined the navy for the lifestyle, to travel and for a job that was challenging and different every day.’

Her brother Joe added: ‘We are really proud of Grace.’

For the three siblings being in the Royal Navy is in their blood, with dad Stephen joining the navy in 1981.
