A weather warning for snow was in place for much of Hampshire for this weekend – but has been pushed back.

The yellow alert had been in force from noon on Saturday until 11.59pm on Sunday, but now does not kick in until Monday. The warning then lasts until Wednesday.

It covers part of Portsmouth including Cosham as well as Havant, Waterlooville and northern Hampshire.

On its website the Met Office says: ‘Snow showers in the far north-east of the UK will spread southwards. Chance of heavier snow for a time in the south.’

Up to 15cm of snow is being forecast for some parts of the south east.

But will it snow where you live?
