Start date CONFIRMED for Portsmouth's 2020-21 League One season
The EFL have confirmed that Pompey’s new campaign will start in just more than seven weeks’ time.
The final weekend of fixtures will be on May 8 and May 9, 2021, with the play-off finals reverted back to the Spring Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May.

Hide AdAn EFL statement read: ‘The EFL can confirm that the 2020/21 Season will get underway across the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two on the weekend of September 12
‘The 2020/21 season will conclude on the 8 and 9 May 2021, with the Sky Bet Play-Off Finals reverting back to the Spring Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May.
‘Work is currently underway in respect of fixture scheduling and details will be announced in due course as to when full fixture lists for 2020/21 will be made available.’
Pompey are preparing for their fourth season in League One, after suffering play-off semi-final defeat to Oxford earlier this month.
